What to expect

Before and after your session

Before your visit

Stop root hair removal

Stop waxing, tweezing and epilating at least 4 weeks before. Shaving is allowed and recommended the night before.

Clean, shaved skin

Shave the area 24 h before and arrive with no lotion, oil, deodorant or makeup on the treatment zone.

Avoid the sun

No sun exposure, tanning beds or self-tanner for the 2 to 3 weeks before and after your session.

Photosensitizing medication

Disclose any antibiotic, retinoid or photosensitizing medication at your consultation. Some sessions must be rescheduled.

After your visit

Soothe the skin

Apply aloe gel or a calming cream. Avoid perfumed soaps and exfoliants for 48 h.

No heat

Avoid saunas, hot baths, chlorinated pools and intense workouts for 48 h.

Sun protection

Apply SPF 50+ daily on the treated area for at least 3 weeks, even on cloudy days.

Shedding

Treated hairs shed between 7 and 21 days. Do not epilate between sessions, shaving only.
